This spacious loft in the historic Ex-Lax building in Boerum Hill had great bones but needed a smarter layout and a more personal touch. Our renovation maximized both function and style, blending warm industrial elements with vintage charm.

Deep blue shaker cabinets, butcher block counters, and a handcrafted terracotta backsplash anchor the kitchen, while funky orange stairs and playful pops of color energize the space. To balance the industrial edge, we added refined touches like custom walnut doors with crystal knobs and hand-painted wallpaper in the primary bedroom. A massive single bathroom became two, and a new layout created a true primary suite alongside a deep plum guest bedroom/home office.

The result? A vibrant Brooklyn loft that feels bold, soulful, and effortlessly livable.
